Jen: HI, I am a degu owner of 3 females, but 1 female just gave birth on Monday night... She delivered 8 but unfortunately 1 has died. I am wondering if the mom will disown the babies at this early stage if we touch them, or move them into another cage as teh cage she gave birth to them in is needing to be cleaned... Also would you know about the eye determinator for being able to tell if the degu is a male or female.. I would really like some help with raisign our little degus as this is our first litter ever...
