As most of you probuably know, i'd rather walk, run or bike to most places that i go. But...
I've always wanted a quad, and love playing around on them. This, however, is not a practical road vehicle, and is much more fun off road.
I have an obsesion with Mini's, they are just great cars, and have got to be one of the only vehicles that you can get away with having a Union Jack on. I only really like the old ones, they are just really great to drive, and their handling is amazing.
Old VW Beetles are the bestist iccle cars ever. They are great, we were looking for one of those, with my uncle's help (he's a mechanic) but as he said, a lot of the old ones have fallen in to neglect, and the bases have started to rot out.
VW Camper Vans are amazing, they are great, you can put big hippy flowers on them, and tie a surf board to the roof. This makes them special.
Ok, from seeing my choices in vehicles, you have probuably already worked out that I like vehicles that stand out from the crowd and are unusual.
Due to my love for Mini's and quad bikes, my mum and dad sugested a mini moke. (like the one on "The Prisoner") so we looked for one of these, but ended up finding a Mini Scamp, which is similar, but lookes more like a Jeep, and has removable doors, and canvas back, as well as this, they are kit cars!
Here is a bit of information about the model of my scamp (mark 3)...
1989- Now it was Andrew’s opportunity to put his stamp on Scamp design. The product was again in the ascendancy and, with annual sales the highest for many years, time was ripe for a whole new image. The Mk3 heralded a new era of Scamps: the kits were available in a choice of wheelbases, various soft-top options, saloon or work-horse variants and with a civilised Cab-Kit for greater practicality. Over the years the model was developed to enable Metro's to be employed as donor vehicles. A well built Mk3 can be parked in the company car park and come dangerously close to blending in! Concentration on the four wheel drive models, together with the requirements of SVA, lead to the withdrawl of Mini based kits at the end of 1999.

Basicaly, a Mini Scamp is a vehicle, that uses all of the actual car stuff (stuff that makes it "go") from a Mini, but has an adapted shell, to make it more suitable for harder terain, and look more individual, ans suit its owners taste.
Dad, Mum, Eric and Jayne stop to have a first look at it on the way back from the Isle. Of Whight.
Here's my Mini Scamp...
Yay, as you can see, it looks like a truck with the cover on, but once the cover is off, it looks more like a jeep.
It has 4 point seat belts, and roll bars, does this mean that I am aloud to roll it. If they didnt want the driver to roll it, then they shouldn't have put on roll bars, these things have to be tested. It can't be any harder than roling a kayak, and in a car, at least u don't end up upside down in water.
As you can see, it is dwarfed by a small van. It is the size of a mini (Mini Austin.)
Ok, Mum and Dad think that it is very sweet, and as they put it a "Nic- Nic car" meaning it is unusual, and wierd (like me.)
Comments that I have had about my Mini Scamp...
Its a Nic-Nic car.
Its cute.
Its sweet.
It sounds like a cool little car.
Trust you to have something different.

Scamp and some friends. (From the S.O.C. web page.)
This is Daisy, and Mum and Dad's Scamp; Taz. He is also a mark 3, that we bought as a "project" he is having a full re-build, and paint job. He is already looking better. As you can see, Gizmo thinks that Daisy is hers.
